New Year, New Start in The Baltic Triangle

Seeing as I’ve been in Liverpool for a few months now, I thought I should introduce you all to my new work ‘home’ in the Baltic Triangle. I’m so excited to have found myself such an amazing place to capture portraits again and my new studio really is something special.

If you’ve ever been on a weekend away to Liverpool and not visited the Baltic Triangle, you’re missing out. This creative district is home to my new photography studio and it’s a thriving area where Liverpool photographers rub shoulders with artists, fashion designers, musicians, filmmakers and a bunch of other creatives.

The Baltic Triangle is the definition of up-and-coming, with more communities popping up every month, and it’s somewhere absolutely everyone should spend some time. Think of this area of Liverpool as the Shoreditch of London or the Brooklyn of New York, it’s definitely one of the most exciting parts of the city. No matter what brings you to Liverpool, the Baltic Triangle is a must-visit destination. We can’t wait for the BOXPARK to open bringing even more dining, retail, and leisure experiences. It will be a huge lift to the already amazing vibe. And then guess what…. you can book a photography session with me whilst you’re here :o)

My super cool new studio is owned by Baltic Creative and it’s the perfect place for me to get out my cameras and capture an array of images for individuals, couples and families alike. Baltic Creative is known for providing flexible spaces to So many artists in Liverpool and their buildings are considered to be a central hub, especially for freelance creatives. Over the years, they’ve transformed several locations that are now home to over 180 businesses. You can check out their Instagram here

You’ll find me in the Northern Lights building which believe it or not, used to be a canning warehouse. My studio is surrounded by gallery spaces, artist studios, workshops, and music rehearsal space, and the building is also home to Ryde cafe. There aren’t many places where you can get a coffee, grab a bite to eat, and also get your bicycle repaired, but Ryde offers all this and much more. I can personally vouch for their cakes too, they’re made by a local baker and they really are delicious.

If you’re visiting my studio for a photo shoot, you have to visit Cains Brewery Village afterwards. Here you can enjoy a cold pint of Cains, which people call 'Liverpool in a pint', at the original site where this iconic ale was brewed back in 1858. You can also have some top-notch food at the renovated brewery whilst you immerse yourself in the buzzing atmosphere. I feel very lucky to have this incredible venue on the doorstep of my studio.

It’s fair to say that I’m settling into my new home in the North West and I’ve already had the pleasure of capturing precious moments between family and friends. So, if you’re looking for a photographer in Liverpool, you know who to contact.

Don’t worry, just because I have a new studio doesn’t mean that I’m no longer offering location shoots. Whenever you want a family photoshoot in a local park or even your back garden, I’m always happy to travel. Of course, I’m still offering photoshoots in London too and trust me, I know so many awesome places to shoot in the capital.
